Mahanandi Mahanandeshwara Temple - Mahanandi is located near Nandyal town. It is one of the nava nandi kshetras. The source of water which flows into the Kalyani of the temple is yet to be identified. Taking a dip into the Kalyani is one of the best experience. The water is very clean.
It is located approximately 400 Kms from Bangalore. We cannot take pics inside temple premises.
Yaganti Uma Maheshwara Temple - The temple has a Nandi statue which is said to be growing each year and is said to come alive and shout at the end of Kaliyuga. There is a mutt of Sri Potaluri Veerabrahmendra swami garu.
