Palani

Hello Travelers,

After our wonderful stay in Kodaikanal we started our Journey to the temple town of Palani.

It is located 60 kms from Kodaikanal and if you visit from Bangalore it is 385 Kms. The route is scenic.

We took the Rope car to climb up and down the hill. Rope car experience was Awesome. We saw peacocks on the hill.

We took darshan of Lord Dhandayudhapani and felt blessed. Collected Prasadam and proceeded towards our Home.

The only sad part is it takes time to climb up and down the hill via Rope car or Winch for which the wait time itself is like 2 hours on one side. Of course there were agents who spoke to us and asked money to help us get darshan soon but we avoided them. For a 15 mins darshan and 3 mins up and  3 mins down rope car trip we had to wait for more than 4 hours.

That conclude our trip and we started for Bangalore at 3 PM and reached by 12 AM.
