Hello Travelers,
When I visited Bellary on a personal work I also visited TB Dam. Also known as Tunga Bhadra Dam. It was build across TungaBhadra river for Power generation purpose. It is located in the newly carved out district of Vijayanagara in the state of Karnataka.
It is located at a distance of 70 kms from Bellary and 340 kms from Bangalore approx. One can add this Dam to list of places to visit if they are visiting Hampi. You can see this Dam enroute to Bijapur.
Almost every one can visit this Dam but be prepared to walk a lot.
