Kudremukh

Hello Travelers,

When we were in Horanadu, we saw sign boards of Kudremukh. So we decided to visit it as we heard of it many times. Kudremukh is located 325 Kms away from Bangalore.

This was in 2014, we took permission from policemen at check post and could visit Kudremukh and now in 2020 when I tried to visit we were stopped by policemen and they said you are not allowed to visit it. They have put restrictions now. If you are going to Dharmasthala from Horanadu then you can pass by and see it.

Horanadu and Kalasa

Hello Travelers,

I have visited Horanadu twice and must say the journey itself is awesome. The beauty of Chikmagalur will make the drive memorable. Beautiful mountains I must say will make you fall in love with this place.

The famous Sri Annapoorneshwari Temple is situated in the Horanadu Village in Chikmagalur district of Karnataka. It is situated at a distance of 325 Kms approx from Bangalore.

On the way to Horanadu and 6 Kms before Horanadu, you will see a village called Kalasa. It has a Kalaseshwara Temple and it lies on the banks of Bhadra river.
