Srisailam

Hello Travelers,

Srisailam is an important temple place to visit. It is located in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. It is located at a distance of approx 550 Kms from Bangalore.

The greatness of Srisailam is it is both a Shakti Peetha and a Jyothirlinga Sthana on Earth. Dedicated to Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy and Sri Bharmaramba Devi.

We visited places like Shikhram, Sakshi Vinayak Temple, Mallikarjuna Swamy and Bharmaramba Devi Temples and finally the Dam. There are other places to see as well.

We have visited Srisailam twice by Car. So we also visited some important pilgrimage spots like Mahanandi and Yaganti also.
