Chamundi Hills

Hello Travelers,

Chamundi Hills is located in Mysore and is located 165 Kms from Bangalore.

This is the place where Goddess Durga took avatar of Chamundeshwari and killed Mahishasura on the 10th day of Dussehra. 

There are steps to climb the hill as well as a road leading to the top of the hill.

Beware of thieves here.

Tirupati

Hello Travelers,

We have visited Tirupati many times to seek blessings of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy. Tirupati is town in Chitoor district of Andhra Pradesh. From here we need to climb the hill of Tirumala to get Darshan of Sri Venkateshwara Swamy.It is approx 265 Kms from Bangalore. 

We visited places like Kanipakam, Srikalahasti and Tiruchanur temples. En route we also visited Chandragiri Fort.

Shravanbelagola

Hello Travelers,

Shravanabelagola is small town located in Haasan district of Karnataka. It is approx 160 Kms from Bangalore directly.

The world famous 55 feet tall Gomateshwara or Bhagawan Bahubali statue is present on the top of  Vindhyagiri hill. We need to climb 550 steps and takes usually 20 mins to be on the top of the hill. 

It is an important Jain pilgrimage center. A Mahamastakabhisheka takes place every 12 years.

Melukote

Hi Travelers,

Melukote is located in Pandavapura taluk of Mandya district in Karnatka. It is approx 150 Kms from Bangalore. We have visited Melukote twice.

Melukote is an historical place in Mysore Kingdom and many saints have stayed here for sometime. The main temples of Melukote are Cheluva Narayana Swamy and on the top of the hill is the temple of Yoga Narasimha.
