Wayanad was on our list from a long time so we decided to visit it. It was in rainy season and we decided to see Wayanad. It was a sudden trip and was not planned at all. No booking nothing. We searched for hotels in Sultan Bathery and checked in directly. We spent two nights in Sultan Bathery.
On our second visit in 2022 we stayed in Kalpetta which 40 Kms approx from Sultan Bathery towards Calicut.
It is located at a distance of 300 kms from Bangalore. We also visited Kozhikode Beach along with tourist attractions like Banasura sagar dam, Banasuramala Meenumutty water falls, Pookode lake, Lakkidi view point and Jain Temple
