Kaiwara and Kailasagiri

Hello Travelers,

We visited Kaiwara and Kailasagiri a couple of times. Sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the evening.

Kaiwara temple is dedicated to Kaiwara Thathayya and Kailasagiri hill was created by drilling and removing rocks from the hills to create a hall for Meditation and Temple.

Here is the location of Kailasagiri : https://goo.gl/maps/qK4z3K5d74MPf3oz7. It is located at a distance of 70 Kms from Bangalore and 5 Kms from Kaiwara near Chintamani on the Madanapalli route.

Orvakallu Rock Garden

Hello Travelers,

Orvakallu Rock Gardens is located in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. It is located at a distance of approx 380 Kms from Bangalore.

We visited this place while returning back from Srisailam. There is a hotel run by APTDC named Hotel Haritha. We had our lunch here and spent an hour before starting to Bangalore.

The famous film Bahubali was shot here.

Savanadurga Hill

Hello Travelers,

After seeing Manchanbele Dam from a distance, I proceeded towards Savanadurga Hill. It is approx 45 Kms from Bangalore.

Ideal place to climb and would take around 1.5-2 hours to reach to the top. It is the biggest monolith hill in Karnataka. Wear shoes for good grip. Weekends are ideal.
