Kollur Mookambika Temple

Hello Travelers,

Sri Mookambika Devi temple is located in Kollur in the Udupi district of Karnataka. It is approx 440 Kms from Bangalore.

Adi Shankaracharya had installed the idol of Sri Mookambika Devi at Kollur.

Trekking to Kodachadri peak starts from here.

Kukke Subramanya

Hello Travelers,

Sri Kukke Subramanya Temple is located in the Subramanya village of Suliya taluk of Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka. It is approx 320 Kms from Bangalore.

Many people visit Kukke Subramanya to perform Sarpa Dosha pooje here.

After visiting Dharamasthala we also visited Southadka Ganesha and Kukke Subramanya Temples.

Avani Temple

Hello Travelers,

Avani is located near Koti Lingeshwara Temple. It is approx 16 Kms from Bangaru Tirupati and 25 Kms from Koti Lingeshwara Temple.

One hour should be fine to see the temple and another hour or so to spend trekking the small hill.

It is a historical place dating back to Ramayana times as per the Priest of Avani Temple. There is also a small hill which people climb. Valmiki Ashram is on top of the hill. It is said that Luv and Kush had fought with their father Lord Rama here.
