Aihole

Hello Travelers,

Aihole is an important place belonging to famous Dynasty called - The Badami Chalukyas.

It is located in Bagalkot district of Karnataka. It is approx 460 Kms from Bangalore.

I recommend to spend atleast 2 hours exploring this place. So plan well. It can be clubbed along with Badami and Pattadakal.

Kudala Sangama

Hello Travelers,

Kudala Sangama is an important place for Lingayatism and popular for Basavanna navaru giving his preachings from this very place. 

Kudala Sangama is situated at a distance of 460 Kms from Bangalore and is located in Bagalkot district of Karnataka. 

The Aikya Mantapa or the holy samadhi of Basavanna navaru, the founder of the Lingayatism along with Linga, which is believed to be self-born or Swayambhu is present here.

Kudala sangama is a place were rivers - Krishna and Malaprabha join to begin a new journey as Krishna river.
