Sripuram Golden Temple

Hello Travelers,

Sripuram Golden Temple is 5 Kms from Vellore, Tamil Nadu. It is a temple dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi Devi. It is built in a place called Thirumalaikodi. Popularly known as Sripuram Lakshmi Temple or Golden Temple.

It is located at a distance of 210 Kms from Bangalore. The Idol of Lakshmi Devi is made out of pure Gold.

It typically take at least 1-2 hours to visit this temple and be prepared to walk for at least 20 Mins through the star shaped path before getting the darshan of Goddess Lakshmi Devi. Elders should consider visiting this temple since you have to walk a lot. However there is a wheel chair facility for elders.

I found the parking staff to be a little rude then I realized there is no use of complaining. It is a commercial temple rather than a historical one. People usually visit it to see the Golden idol of Goddess Lakshmi.

You cannot take pics inside temple premises and have to deposit Mobile phones. So I took some pics from Outside.

Here are some pics.
